The Clintonville Farmers' Market Kids Garden Club attends. Find their produce, which they've tended from seed to harvest throughout the summer, at the market information tent on W Dunedin. This year's club includes 8 children from the neighborhood that meet weekly at Over the Fence Urban Farm to learn about gardening and nutrition education from club leader, Jodi Kushins.
Also at market, OEFFA's Growing Right Project pop up installation. The pop-up is a fully-equipped (we hope) mobile pop-up listening booth: you can listen to oral histories and experience multi-media formats. The installation also features an analog exhibit on the print cultural history of the ecological food and farm movement in Ohio. Co-curated by community archivist and movement historian Scott Williams and Project Director Jess Lamar Reece Holler, the exhibit features print ephemera documenting the rise of a grassroots ecological food community — including newsletters, brochures, print directories, and quite a few surprises!
Find peaches, raspberries, tomatoes, sweet corn, zucchini and all the best of summer!
