Market Receives Grant to Connect Farmers and Customers
The Ohio Farm Bureau Foundation has awarded Clintonville Farmers' Market a $2,000 Agricultural Action and Awareness Grant.
The goal of the project will be to connect farmers and emerging customer groups in a mutually beneficial way by bringing underserved Clintonville area populations to the market for fresh food and nutrition, and bringing market development opportunities and profit to Ohio farmers and producers.
The genesis of the project began with the market's delegate visit to Terra Madre, the international Slow Food biennial assembly in Torino, Italy.
